It's only
(1) people in India who have grown up with the 'chalta hai' attitude and
(2) Indians with a commie bent of mind who want others to remain downtrodden while they themselves tower over others without possessing the abilities ........
who will say that English is after all a foreign language and as long as the message is understandable, there's no reason to laugh.
For those in Serial (2), check out the background/ upbringings of their children and you will find that more often than not, they have ensured that their children's future has been taken care of.
